Meet the Kolors Team!

Hi, I’m Zo – Owner of Kolors Decorating, chief brush-wielder, and all-round colour enthusiast!

With over 30 years of experience and a passion for transforming spaces, I bring a mix of skill, heart, and humour to every project. I started Kolors Decorating to offer a different kind of decorating service—one that’s friendly, female-led, and full of personality.

When I’m not up a ladder or covered in paint, you’ll find me geeking out over colour psychology or being bossed around by Pickle, our team mascot. Whether it’s a bold feature wall or a full home refresh, I believe decorating should feel exciting, not stressful—and a good laugh is always part of the job.

Think of me as your friendly neighbourhood paint whisperer… just with sass and a paintbrush.

This is Jessica – my partner in crime and queen of the clean line!

She’s been working with me 8 years, and honestly, Kolors Decorating wouldn’t be the fun it is without her. Trained by yours truly, Jess is now an unstoppable force of decorating brilliance with a work ethic that would put most to shame.

She’s sassy, sharp, and hilariously funny—basically the kind of person you want around whether you’re painting a ceiling or surviving a Monday. Clients adore her, and so do I (but don’t let her get a big head about it).

We’re the dream team with paint in our hair and laughter in our lungs—and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Welcome Ruby, our part time professional labourer!

Ruby has been dipping her brush in and out Kolors Decorating for the past two and a half years, while she also pursues her studies in animal care.

She is hardworking, never afraid to muck in, and a most valued member of the team.

Ruby has a real soft spot for Pickle - often joining him to his local pub where he can be showered with dog treats and attention!

And of course… Pickle – our tiniest team member with the biggest personality!

Tiny, friendly, and totally essential, Pickle has been coming to work with us since the day we brought him home. He’s never been left behind and never will be—So the rules are simple, no Pickle, no painters!

Don’t worry, though—he won’t be wandering your house (unless you want him to!). Pickle stays safely in the room we’re working in, supervising with his signature side-eye and occasional snore.

Clients love him, we adore him, and every job is proudly Pickle Approved.
